Legal status of the rental
The house is let privately, without additional commercial services. It is therefore not subject to the Austrian Trade Act, and there is no chamber membership.
Small business owner under § 6(1)(27) Austrian VAT Act (Kleinunternehmerregelung), so no VAT is charged.

The EU online dispute resolution platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025. If there is a dispute, please contact us directly. Consumers in Austria can also turn to Verbraucherschlichtung Austria. We are not obliged to take part in a conciliation procedure.
