One room for cooking, eating and long evenings

Living room, dining table and kitchen flow into one another. Whoever is cooking stays part of the conversation, and after dinner the corner sofa is only a few steps away.

The kitchen has an oven, an extractor hood and a coffee machine. In the evening, the indirect ceiling lights give off a warm glow, and the long dining table seats everyone.

In summer

The Oberperfuss gondola leaves 1.1 kilometres from the house and takes you up to Stiglreith at 1,363 metres. There is a panorama restaurant at the top, and from there you can hike up the Rangger Köpfl (1,939 m). Children love the ghost trail in the village: 21 carved wooden faces that start talking at the push of a button.

In winter

The Rangger Köpfl ski area is small and a good fit for families and beginners. The natural toboggan run takes you up to eight kilometres down to the valley, and when there is enough snow it is also open on Tuesday and Friday evenings. Bigger ski areas such as Axamer Lizum and Kühtai are half an hour away.

Innsbruck and rainy days

Innsbruck old town and the Golden Roof are 20 minutes away. When the weather turns, the small museum in the village about the mapmaker Peter Anich is worth a visit, with globes, sundials and old maps.
